There is a lack of access for resume builders, such as college students and new grads, to gain experience working in software development group environments. Not everyone has the network to work with others, so finding new people to work with will help all parties grow and gain more experience. This will also help developers in landing job opportunities due to how important previous project experience is for employers, especially project experience in team environments.
BudCode is an online platform that allows software developers, at any level from novice students to seasoned professionals, to connect and collaborate.
I primarily worked on the REST API, but assisted the frontend team where necessary.
When visiting the site, it may take some time for the first request to process, especially when the site hasn't been visited in a while. Services may not be up entirely. Being in the free tier comes with a price.

First-hand, my teammate and I noticed the many issues there are with course enrollment sites for colleges and universities such as CUNYFirst. We aimed to solve these issues by creating our own seamless platform.
Collegefulbar is a basic student management system for colleges and universities where students and instructors can manage their classes effortlessly and administrators can manage courses, classes, students, and more.
The repo contains both frontend and backend code, but I worked solely on the backend portion.

Instagram allows users to download their data. However, the data itself can't provide meaningful information on its own.
Instagram Insights uses account data to reveal insights of a user's Instagram account.
Instagram has updated the structure of its data files and this tool isn't updated to work with the new structure.

This project was my team's submission for HackCooper2019. For most of the team, it was our first hackathon.
Our idea was to create a website that converts books written in English to books written in braille. This website would also contain a library of books already written in braille. In order to do this, we created braille translators (one in C++ and the other in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS).
Due to limited time, we simply created these translators that convert user input in English to Grade 2 Braille.

During my time at All Star Code, we were often being placed in groups, and I noticed the process could have been more efficient.
I created this program that converts a list of names from user input to random groups based on user preference.
This was basically my first ever project.
